The Door that became Not Broken:

Tom sits within the witness stand and says that he passes every day at the Ewell's house on his way to paintings. Mayella usually requested her to help with some little chores. Mayella offered a rate, but Tom declined the price due to the fact he desired to assist her free of rate. On the night time Mayella accused him of raping her, he said Mayella requested her to restoration the door for her.
